The DPS system is based on a tuned mass damper. It essentially consists of an additional suspended mass system which can adapt and respond to different working conditions, supplying additional damping to the structure where it is located.
DPS permanently monitors the behavior of the system, and self-adjusts to maximise the added damping effect.
The DPS can effectively improve the dynamic stiffness of modular fixtures by changing their dynamic behaviour.
