CHALLENGE TO OVERCOME

Machine accuracy is affected by the thermal expansion that the machine internal heat generation produces.

SOLUTION

SORALUCE has created its own thermal calibration device as well as self-developed thermal compensation algorithms.

Even if the machine is equipped with several milling heads, which may have different thermal behaviour, each head can be compensated independently.

Thermal compensation is based on internal temperatures which are measured through on board thermal probes.
